BEFORE THE STORM 2

This is another painting of the same girl as in ‘Before the storm’; the image caught of her is on her wedding day.

I used cotton threads to correspond to her life. They spread out like different paths and different choices in life that can go in a variety of directions in order to complete a whole picture.

Some paths may overlap the others, causing a spark for a short period of time, and after that may never cross the same path again.

Cotton threads are delicate fabric but on the other hand, they can be a tough raw material. No matter how many of the threads break down and wear out, other threads will replace and cover the torn ones.

They are significant to the strength of a human life and the matter of the path you set off on to accomplish your own individual life pattern.
