Artist's Statement

Being a fine art artist, I especially have a love of painting.

I am also interested in raw materials. Any raw material has its own limitless potential, just like a blank canvas has infinitive possibility, before the application of thought and paint to transform it into an art form.

When a layer of material is attached to a painting, it applies a new excitement to it. Resulting in going beyond its own language and taking it into another level of meaning.

That’s what makes me feel so passionate about by making paintings and materials together and combine them into an unknown territory.
