Mirror and Ga Ga

I always like to make a connection with raw material that associate with paintings.

This mirror's painting inspired by Michelangelo Pisoletto whom began painting on mirrors in 1962.

I painted a life size of the pop star 'Lady Gaga' on the mirror, both the painting imagery and material are connecting with the constantly changing realities in which the work finds itself.

When the mirror is being put in different places such as indoor and outdoor, the intrepretation of the painting change due to the instantly changing reflection of the environement.

The reflection from the mirror is intended both to integrate the environment and the image of Lady Gaga, which create a contradiction space between a popularity culture image and the reality background that may not fit in each other.
